Craig A. Popp, M.D. has been with Fox Valley Orthopaedic Institute since 1998.
Dr. Popp completed his B.A. in Biophysics and Medical Physics at the University of California at Berkeley. He received his doctor of medicine from the University of Minnesota Medical School, followed by an internship at the University of Illinois in Chicago where he also continued with a residency in orthopaedic surgery. He completed a fellowship in orthopaedic spine at the U.S.C. School of Medicine of Spine Fellowship in Los Angeles.
He is board-certified through the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and Kane County Medical Society.
He is a member of the medical staff at Delnor-Community Hospital in Geneva and Provena St. Joseph Hospital in Elgin.
Dr. Popp's focus is on comprehensive orthopaedic spine care with an emphasis on sports related injuries of the spine and minimally invasive and reconstructive procedures for degenerative disorders.
