Dr. Torosian has been with Fox Valley Orthopaedic Institute since 1995. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Illinois and his medical degree from the Chicago Medical School.
He completed his residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at Northwestern's McGraw Medical Center and was awarded a fellowship in Hand and Upper Extremity Reconstruction and Microsurgery at Baylor College of Medicine in Texas.
His areas of expertise are in hand, elbow and microsurgery. Dr. Torosian has a special interest in complex upper extremity surgeries.
Dr. Torosian is a member of the medical staff at Delnor-Community Hospital in Geneva and at Provena St. Joseph Hospital in Elgin.
He is board-certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgeons and was selected for membership in the American Society for Surgery of the Hand. He is a professional member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, American Medical Association, the Illinois State Medical Society and the Kane County Medical Society.
Dr. Torosian is the author of numerous articles on hand surgery and children's orthopaedics, and he is a prolific lecturer on a wide range of orthopaedic topics.
