Dr. Grosskopf has been with Fox Valley Orthopaedic Institute since 1986. He graduated from Illinois Benedictine College (which became Benedictine University in 1996) with highest honors and then attended medical school at the University of Illinois.
After completing a residency at the University of Illinois as a general surgery intern, he completed his residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Illinois Affiliated hospitals.
Dr. Grosskopf is a member of the medical staff of Delnor-Community Hospital in Geneva and Provena St. Joseph Hospital in Elgin.
He is board-certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgeons, American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and the Arthroscopy Association of North America.
Dr. Grosskopf ’s areas of expertise include arthroscopic surgery of knee and shoulder disorders.
