Dr. James P. Sostak

My passion for sports is a key reason why I became an orthopedic doctor specializing in sports medicine. I have been an involved in sports my whole life. As a player for an NCAA All-American Baseball team, I broke all past records for the most consecutive hits and still hold the record to this day! When I am not treating patients, I enjoy playing softball, running, spending time with my family, and educating about injury prevention. During your visit I will review your medical history, and injury then provide you with options for care. I pride myself on using a variety of methods such as physical therapy, rest, and medicine to prevent the need for surgery unless absolutely necessary. Should surgery be the best option, we will work together to choose the surgery that will be the least invasive and will have the shortest downtime. I will also be actively involved in your recovery and rehabilitation.
