Healthy Living Program in Geneva, Elgin & Surrounding Areas

A Medically Supervised Weight Management Program Built on Compassion, Commitment, Education & Support.

Healthy Living is an evidence-based, weight management program guided by medical professionals. Throughout your journey, you will learn:

  • The safest approach to weight loss personalized to your medical history and conditions
  • Strategies to build new routines, and implement food modifications for long-term weight loss and healthy habits
  • How to incorporate exercise into your daily routine, including the benefits of yoga, flexibility and balance
  • If weight-loss medications are right for you

The Healthy Living program requires a minimum of a 3-month commitment. Consultations may include weekly or monthly in-office visits, depending on weight-loss goals.

Keeping you motivated and on track is at the core of the Healthy Living program. Your progress will be monitored by our team of healthcare experts, and you will learn firsthand:

  • How to use a fitness app to monitor exercise
  • Which low-calorie diet is right for you
  • The importance of getting enough sleep
  • New coping strategies to reduce stress, anxiety, and depression
  • How alcohol and nonprescription drugs can cause weight gain
  • The benefits and/or drawbacks of weight-loss aids and other natural homeopathic medications
  • How to develop an exercise routine that includes core strengthening, balance, and flexibility training

Support For Success is vital in your journey to weight loss, and your primary care physician, family, and friends are excellent resources. Through the Healthy Living program, we will keep your physician up-to-date with your progress. With your consent, we can also keep a friend or family member updated on your progress.

For additional support, you will be encouraged to attend a support group twice-a-month. In the span of an hour, you will learn nutrition and fitness tips from others who are on the same weight loss journey. This is also a great opportunity to exchange healthy recipes and taste-test “the dish of the week”.
