Our muscles really do work best when they’re given a good work out followed by a rest. Studies show that people heal much better when they move. This is why patients recovering from surgery are now required to get up and move around…whether they like it or not.

And consider this:

The chronic tension and tightening of muscles that plagues people who don’t move is the same as the tension that results when muscles aren’t rested. The bottom line – under-rested and over-worked muscles respond the very same way. They shut down. So what are you waiting for? Use ‘em or lose ‘em! Do your muscles a favor and get moving!
